I've been living in Orlando since the 70s. I've been involved in the arts as a child beginning in elementary when there used to be an option of being in band. Yes, you could play trumpet, saxophone, drums.. pretty much anything beginning in 5th grade. This was when elementary was K-6. I was able to attain the position of first chair in the Orange County band only a few months after learning how to play my primary instrument. I also volunteered in middle school to play in our local church. That's where I first learned how to play the guitar. With my experiences as a musician, marching band, jazz band, participating in culturally related events such as folkloric dance and travel for high school competitions and events for band and being involved in the high school musical drama production, it was inevitable I would introduce music into my childrens lives. Fast forward many years and my son will be graduating next semester with a Degree in Digital Music Production... at the age of 19. He is the only person in the history of Florida to obtain either of two different certificates from a local college while still in high school. The first was for Digital Music Production. The second for Audio/Visual Production. I have created a company, eLeMeNO Music & Media LLC, to manage and promote his music and productions. I'm well aware there's talent in and all around Orlando. High schools such as Evans, Colonial, Edgewater, Jones, Oak Ridge, for example, have students that would make talented artists, rappers, performers, etc. but will never have an opportunity to venture outside the Orlando bubble and remain undiscovered. We are currently seeking musicians, songwriters, vocalists and rappers. Also, if you or your group have a song or track you'd like to record, we are reserving 10 spots to begin working on its production this year. Producing the songs will be free and you will receive a completed copy of the project sent to you when completed. Candidates will be chosen depending on their role. For example, we don't need 10 rappers. Of the 10 projects perhaps 3 or 4 are rappers OR vocalists OR Bands.... To be considered, reply to message and let us know how you'd like to contribute.
