Hi everyone, this is Bailey. He’s a husky mix, and ~46lbs. I adopted Bailey several months ago after moving in by myself in hopes to have him as a roommate/guardian of my home. He really is sweet, energetic, and playful. But I am just not cut out for him. I tried to return him to the shelter I adopted him from but they refused, as their shelter was full. We’ve been struggling to keep him happy & work & find him a new home all at the same time. Craigslist was my last option but he doesn’t deserve to be alone as often as he is. That being said, He is not just going to anyone and I need serious inquiries only. He needs a home without cats, but is good with other dogs his size. He is rough when he is playful so older kids would be ideal for him. I started working more, and he spends time with my grandfather often. But even with someone with him for part of the day, I will often come home to my trash can dug through, and my clothes being guarded by him, so I can’t wash them. This behavior is avoidable as long as you have enough time to bond with him/train him to your liking. Behavioral classes may be a good option for him as well. Again he requires a lot of attention, please be advised and aware that he needs a home with someone to care for him often, and a lot of space to run around.
