Guitarist and singer/backup singer looking for a band

Title pretty much says it. I'm a backup/rhythm guitarist looking for a group to play music/gig with or looking for like minded people to get together and start a band. Used to play in an alternative/punk/poppunk/emo group years ago where I grew up and recently picking guitar back up. Musical interests are Nirvana, Jimmy Eat World, Story of the Year, AiC, New Found Glory, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Taking Back Sunday, Blink, Bush, and most other similar music to these. I don't mind other types of music, just never was into hair/80's metal, super heavy stuff, or most country...especially the newer stuff. I very much prefer punk/pop-punk/emo/alternative/grunge style. Not the best singer, but I love it and don't care to let it fly...haha. Just getting back into playing guitar, but picking it okay, especially rhythm/backup. Just really miss being in front of people and playing. Not shy about it at all. Just put a guitar in my hands, a mic in front of me, and I'll go. Haha. In New Albany, IN. 38 years old with a decently flexible schedule, family and work obligations come first, obviously...but would LOVE to play a little and get back in front of some people.
