Come help a small business grow! We are looking for dedicated sales associates to help our customers have the best experience possible every time they come to our booth at this year's anticipated holiday market! Summary: Performs sales, represents the brand, greets customers with enthusiasm, and sets up and cleans up the booth once the day is over. Days and Times of Job: Saturday - Sunday: Dec. 10-11 and Dec. 17-18, from 10am - 7pm Responsibilities: - Lifting (10lbs max), unboxing and reboxing inventory, and organizing working space so it is presentable in the booth - Setup Booth and Display of Planter Pots - Greet Customers, Smile - Performs sales and customer service responsibilities - Performs cashiering, wrapping up ceramic pots, and bagging items for customers - Understand the brand's story and knowledge about the product (company will be revealed once hired) Required Experience: - 1-2 years of Retail experience - 1-2 years experience using Square App and/or Square POS system - 1-2 years of Customer service experience - 1-2 years of Sales Experience A plus but not required: - Have a Drivers License - Have access to an SUV or van to help load and transport boxes of inventory and set up equipment - Love of plants and decor - Social Media Experience (posting and creating IG reels, tik toks, etc.) Must be at least 18 years old Job Type: Seasonal (Weekend gig only) Pay: $25/hour Work Location: Downtown Brooklyn - Atlantic Terminal Please send an email with the following and answer the questions below: - Provide Resume and/or quick summary of why you're the right person for this job - What is your experience using POS or payment app systems as a sales associate? - What strategies do you use to make a customer feel welcome and at ease when they enter a store? - What would you do if you were about to close a sale when a new customer approached you demanding assistance immediately? - How would your current/previous manager or teacher describe you as an employee/student?
