Description
DAYCARE HANDLER: $16.50 P/H
We have a tight nit team with most of our staff staying with us for multiple years. It's a serious job first. Outside of that it's fun, enjoyable for the right fit, and a positive place to work without being micro-managed your entire shift.
You must have a great attitude and be someone who loves hanging out with dogs! You must be reliable, mature, easily take direction and be the type of person who after training is able to do the job without a lot of oversight.
You need to be the type of person who can snuggle a pup but also be able to redirect any problem players. You will be managing large and small dogs socializing together with 15 - 25 dogs in one room. You are on your feet the entire shift, interacting with the dogs and cleaning up after them. You need to be assertive but come with a lot of patience. We encourage you to play with them, cuddle them and take them out to the yard to break up their day. You need to be confident and comfortable around dogs. You need to be a pack leader.
We have a couple positions. One for around 15 - 20 hours per week and one for up to around 35 hours per week. Shifts; 7:30am - 2pm, 12pm - 7/8pm, 2pm - 7/8pm. You get a 30 minute paid break when working over a 5 hours shift. You can earn up to 5 days sick pay per year.
IN YOUR REPLY PLEASE WRITE A SHORT BLURB OF WHY YOU ARE A GOOD FIT AND WHAT YOUR EXPERIENCE IS. DO NOT JUST INCLUDE YOUR RESUME
