I adopted Sylvia from Southeast Volusia Humane Society, New Smyrna Beach in 2019, she is chipped to me, but belongs to our daughter. Our daughter having to re-locate herself with her 3 y.o. son, unable to take Sylvia with them. Sylvia is a healthy 58.30 lb. Siberian Husky/German Shepherd mix. Her last vet visit was on 23 August 2022, at VCA Newman in Edgewater. Sylvia is friendly but needs time to adjust, "children" older preferred. She was rescued from a puppy mill, that said she does not do well with closed environment i.e., cage, kennel, or locked in a room. She needs the whole house. Sylvia is not a chew toy or tug of war pup, but energetic, loves treats and walks, being a part of the family. She has been around horses, along with other farm animals. She may not do well with other female dogs at least through the fence. She does well with our male dogs, and neighbor's male dogs.
