Welcome to soldering basics! Working with sterling silver can have some learning curves; not to mention it can be cost prohibitive to gather your own tools and materials to practice at home. In this class I will start with basic safety info around soldering; mostly, use common sense, be prepared and take your time. From there we will discuss the various tools and materials needed, and I will continue explaining these as we go through the process. Then we get hands on! I will guide you through the creation of 2 sterling silver rings, in size of your choice. Some parts of the process are more fun then others, but each is vital to create a quality, beautiful piece that will last through the ages. Throughout class feel free to ask any questions! I will answer to the best of my ability. Groups of 5 or more can receive ticket discounts, reach out via email if you have any questions. *class designed for ages 16+. 16 and 17 year olds must come with participating adult.
