Description

* More details will be posted here as they come available* When: May 5th-7th Where: Millers Falls Rod and Gun Club in Montague MA and surrounding areas (trips, and some events) Lodging: On-site TENT camping will be available. The ground is soft and there are no camper/RV hook-ups. There are both spots in the field and under the trees. Music will be playing Saturday night so this might not be the best option for people who want to turn in early or have small kids Families: Kids, spouses, partners, etc. are invited! Almost all the activities will have a kid friendly option (short day hikes, games, food). That being said as Saturday night progresses, I can't promise the later part of the evening will be the best fit. Food and Drinks: There is a cash bar (and ATM) at the venue. It is strictly NO BYOB. We could get kicked off site for bringing our own drinks. On Friday night we will offer smores on-site. Saturday night will be the big meal and will be some version of a bbq (hamburger and hot dogs or a pig roast). Based on ticket sales we hope to provide additional food but there are no guarantees yet. Rainy Day Plan: Not to worry. There is a 300-person covered pavilion at the site. If needed we will get pavilion walls and heaters, and a 70-person indoor space. Some events may be able to be moved to indoor spaces at the Umass Campus. Venue: https://millersfallsrodandgun.com/ Who: All past, present and future UMOCers. We want to draw out even the people who haven't been super involved in the club since college.  What do I get? 2 nights of affordable camping, at least 2 smashing UMOC bands, at least one large meal, a cool place to hang out and visit with friends, trips, classic UMOC games, and memories (priceless). There is also a volleyball net and horseshoe pit on-site.  Pricing: $62 until February 14th, and then it goes up so register now! From Feb 15th- March 14th it is $87, from March 15th- April 15th it $120. After April 15th registration closes. Kids under 12 are free, kids over 12 are $15 (to cover their bottomless appetite). Unfortunately, the club was unable to contribute funds to this event so the more people who attend, the more food and fun we can provide.  Questions: contact Lauren Healey at [email protected]
