Join us for a morning of wreath-making, treats, and festive libations at Grange Garden on Cedros Avenue, Solana Beach ~ in the heart of the Design District! Tickets are $99 per person and include instruction, snacks/beverages from our gourmet garden coffee bar, and all of the materials you need to make an everlasting holiday wreath for your home or as a special gift for someone you love. What's Included: A gourmet coffee or tea beverage from our Garden Bar ~or~ bottomless mimosas French pastries from Café Darshan 14” Grapevine Wreath Hoop Fully Preserved Eucalyptus (real + everlasting!) Other Fully Preserved Botanical Accents Vintage Rope for Hanging Accents (pine cones, vintage mini cow bells, luxe ribbon, etc.) These fun Saturday workshops are ongoing with 4 dates to choose from and commence November 19th at Grange Garden, a unique concept shop that introduces garden design, home décor, and craft coffee all into one, unified shop located right in the heart of the Design District of Solana Beach. Free parking is available in the lot behind Grange Garden. The workshop will start promptly with the first 15 minutes dedicated to greeting and instruction. What sets our wreaths apart? Our preserved botanicals! Preservation is another form of drying but the main difference is the use of more refined techniques; likened to the process of curing meat, when a stem is in its freshest state, preservation is achieved by placing the stem, flower or branch in a non-toxic mixture similar to that of sugar-water. Once saturated, the stem is dipped again after it has completely dried. This process is repeated over and over and after about three months (yes three months!), the stem is "preserved” in a form closest to its natural state. Preserving the stem when it is fresh, prevents it from drying out and it will keep its graceful and lively form. The stem, leaves, and blooms will remain soft and everlasting ~ just like our wreaths! Due to the tools used for this class, attendees must be 12+ to attend. Do I need any safety equipment or special clothing? We will not be using anything out of the ordinary. Hot glue gun and wire clippers will be our main tools. Please wear clothing that you are comfortable in. Can I cancel if I can't make it? If you wish to cancel, you must do so 7 days before the class start date in order to be eligible for a refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 7 days of the class start date. Refunds will not include Eventbrite's fees.
