Description

We need volunteers to help us at our open house and party! We need you! There are special prize drawings just for volunteers! Also register as a regular party attendee to get additional chances to win. Volunteer Roles: Registration - Check in guests, put yellow bands on those who are 21+ (eligible for alcoholic drinks)Greeter - Welcome everyone and help people get name tagsBike Parking - Park bikes at valet bike parkingFood - Keep food items well organized, ensure good hygiene, gloves & masks provided.Drink (21 or older) - Keep drinks organized and flowing, ensure good hygiene (gloves & masks provided), verify that only yellow banded people get alcoholic drinks.Zero Waste - Roam office to make sure all waste goes to the proper place. Compostables in compost bins, recyclables in blue recycling bins, liquids in sinks.Voting - Assist members voting and collect ballots.Merch - Give out free stuff to everyone, member stuff to members, jerseys to those who donate $125 or more, and get people to join/renew and donate to SVBC.Notes: All shifts are 2.5 hours so you have time just to enjoy the open houseEvery volunteer is trained just before their shiftShifts starting at 12pm will help setup (the party starts at 1pm)Shifts ending at 5pm will help clean up (the party ends at 4pm)Thank you for volunteering!
