The 2023 NCVA California Kickoff Recruiting Combine, in partnership with NCVA and the California Kickoff, will be held on January 13th, from 7:00 p to 8:30 p. at the San Jose Convention Center and is open to any high school age player and 8th graders (FEMALE ONLY), regardless if they are participating in the NCVA California Kickoff tournament or not.   The NCVA CA Kickoff Recruiting Combine will be will promoted to every NCAA Division II, Division III, NAIA and Junior College Volleyball in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Idaho, Utah and Nevada! PLEASE NOTE - January 13th is within the NCAA Division I Recruiting Quiet Period, so no DI schools are allowed to attend the Combine in person; BUT, we will send the Player Information Packet to every NCAA Division I school in CA/OR/WA/NV/AZ/UT/ID   The Player's name will be on a registered list, and at Combine check in, each player will be given a bib #, so college coaches can easily match player and contact information - Seniors will also be given a colored wristband/bib # for quick identification.  Players should wear normal volleyball practice gear (no need to wear uniforms or shirts with a number on them).   Volleyball players will be divided by position and graduation year to allow attending college coaches to efficiently evaluate them.  Multiple courts will be used at the San Jose CC, with each court having a "court coach", to allow players to showcase their skills sets to the college coaches. The court coaches will put the players through volleyball drills within their specific positions, along with combining positions to illustrate group skill sets.  The focus will be on individual and positional group skills, which allows college coaches to quickly and efficiently evaluate players.
