FREE event Complimentary dinner, dessert, and drinks Non-members, students, and future members welcome RSVP here so we know how much food to order Four years ago in the early years of our chapter we realized that the holiday season was missing a crucial element for some of our members that hail from other places — a family gathering. For those unable to be with their friends and family, we decided to start a potluck-style casual gathering that we dubbed “home cooking away from home” consisting of our membership to fellowship with culturally familiar food and drink as a taste of home. The event has evolved over the years and through COVID-19 to suit different needs – but we are thrilled to gather in person again this year at Steele Indian School Park under the ramada embracing the nice weather. Rather than potluck style – the main course will be catered HOWEVER we are asking our members to please bring a small dessert representative of their culture to share with the group if they would like. Friends are welcome! Please bring anyone you would like but be sure to RSVP so we know how much food to prepare. We have reserved a ramada near Lot A at the north west side near Bird Lake at Steele Indian School Park.
