Description
This a wonderful two-year-old, neutered male Boxweiler (Boxer and Rottweiler) named Titan. I think there may be some hound in him as well. He is probably around 100 pounds and is as strong as an ox. This dog is crate trained and is working on learning basic commands. Very eager to please and responds well to gentle corrections. He would make an excellent guard dog. He does not appear to get along well with other dogs due to not being well socialized when he was a puppy, but he seems very affectionate toward all humans.
I recently took this dog off of someone's hands who was no longer able to financially afford or provide proper exercise for this dog. (I'm a social worker and came across the previous owner through work.) The owner has surrendered the dog to me and has provided me with the veterinary paperwork. I am unable to keep this dog due to having two other dogs in my home. Also, this dog needs to go to someone who has property for this dog to roam and let loose his boundless energy. Please know that I did try to take this dog to the local shelters after obtaining it. Sadly, most of the shelters have surrender waitlists and I need to find this dog a new home soon because I simply cannot provide him with the affection and exercise he deserves.
To ensure this dog is going to someone who can financially provide for it, I will be inquiring about your job, your salary, and the type of property you own/rent. I will also run a criminal background check. Breed experience is a plus.
There is no re-homing fee. Instead, I will cover any initial expenses the new owner might incur by adopting this dog.
