$500 CASH REWARD Jackson MaGoose is a small grey cat with long hair. I raised Jackson since he was a newborn, even feeding him with a syringe before he was old enough to eat on his own. He had apparently been abandoned by his mother during the summer of 2018, possibly for being a runt. Fast forward to September 2022. Jackson stepped outside onto the deck without me noticing. He had never been outside before. When I closed the sliding glass door, he freaked out and started jumping into the glass, trying to get back inside. Then, he took off running and hid out of fear. The last time I saw Jackson, he had run underneath the deck of my next door neighbors, Dion Harris and his mother, Cheryl Buntjer. They live at 1515 Barton Blvd on the north side of Rockford. Over the next several days, I heard Dion and his friend very clearly commenting that there was a cat under the deck, eventually culminating in the two catching the cat and taking it to another location. When I approached them about what I heard, I was repeatedly lied to and taunted. Dion eventually told me that I was going to have to pull my cat out from the tie rod on his car. This is the type of wonderful person that Dion is. Again, there is a $500 cash reward for the safe return of this cat BY ANY MEANS. He means the world to me, as well as my other cats. The orange one keeps howling in the window, hoping Jackson will hear him. Dion R Harris doesn't have a car, but he can be spotted driving a silver Jeep, a silver Buick SUV, a tan Malibu, or his mother's black Kia Telluride SUV. I'm hoping somebody out there who doesn't like Dion might like to make some easy money. If he is posting pictures of this cat on social media, then the Rockford police would like to see them.
