do you like sam amidon, bill frisell, florist, alabaster deplume, brian blade fellowship, caroline, or black country new road? our band plays jazz-inspired country-tinged music! violin, twinkly synth keys, electric guitar + bass, harmonies and drums. sometimes soft and beautiful, sometimes loud and shout-y. hoping to create a swelling sound, working in tandem with a violinist (a la Black Country new Road) hobby band but playing professional shows at DC venues (comet ping pong, rhizome, house shows) all original songs! lyrics and political outlook of band: socialist. band members in our mid to late 20's. will make a record soon and we need your keen ear, sax blasts, and friendship!
