https://gofund.me/ca40b3d6 Golden, my sweet chihuahua, broke his leg from a fall and we need Your Help!!!. We don't have much money. He is in pain, and the animal hospitals are telling me quotes. For the X-rays, medicine, surgery, aftercare and visits every week for eight weeks or more to change his cast and check on his healing could cost around 10,000 or more to help him, Depending on what else he may need or if there is other damage they may find when they try to fix him. They even spoke of amputations as an option which I absolutely do not want. I want to save his Leg!. We went to an emergency vet and spent $800 on the X-Ray you see here, Medicine (Pain meds & Anti-Inflammatories enough for 2 days) and the Cast. They only do soft tissue surgeries so we were told we still need to go to an animal Hospital and this will be good enough untill we get there. Golden is such a sweet active doggo. even the doctors at the vet was suprised because he didn't whine or move when they wrapped him up just teared up a bit, and told me how he's the best chihuahua ever. Golden is a champ! at first he was sad and still and I would cry when I see the tears roll from his eye's cause I know he's in pain but despite the pain the next day he was ready to be back on the move and it put a smile in my heart to see him trying. Right now it's hard for him to sleep, walk or use the bathroom. I want nothing more than for him to get his independence back, to be happy, healthy and pain-free.
