Just like the children in Germany, the kid's can enjoy a Lantern Parade at the beautiful Christkindlmarket. The Christkind will stroll with the children around the Christkindlmarket while carrying a lantern and singing songs in English and in German. After the Parade each of the children will receive a goody-bag. The Story behind the Lantern ParadeInitially the Lantern Parade takes place on St. Martin's day in November to honor St. Martin who was a soldier who lived in the fourth century AD.
