Originally seen in Italian Cooking, the bite-sized cookie grew massive popularity in France in the 1500s where it saw a slight change to the recipe. From there it became a staple at formal events before finally being more accessible in 1792. Today, we see them in every flavour and colour as they make a lovely centerpiece to any gathering!
