Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7am - 3:30pm Advance your career at Value Merchandise International as a Rework Associate! No experience required. Perform an array of functions that include sorting and updating products, packaging and building pallets of shipping boxes for stock and materials, To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Read and follow directions communicated verbally and/or via written documentation including forms and charts. Stickering products and cases with updated labels. Lift and stack boxes weighing up to 40 lbs. and use a ladder to stack boxes to a height of up to 100" Palletize boxes and uses best practices for efficient arrangement. Track all time for projects. Read and understand warehouse location chart and move product to rework area. Put away completed products, track locations for pulling and putting away. Maintain organizational standards when putting away products or materials. Open bales, crates and other containers. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Keep work area organized for orderliness at all times. Wear the proper safety equipment. Able to pass background check. Work with the Logistics and Warehouse Manager to arrange and direct delivery of products. Must be willing and able to utilize and follow company practices and procedures. Must be sensitive to deadlines and be proactive in processing vendor issues in a timely and professional manner. Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Must be 18 years of age or older. Experience: No experience necessary.
