Please NOTE! This is a THREE NIGHT CLASS for one fee of $70. Over the course of three evenings, we will discuss a variety of photography topics. Your instructors will show examples of good composition, and demonstrate how composition will improve the quality of your photos. We will discuss how awareness of these aspects can be used to make your photos more interesting. We will discuss the digital camera's exposure controls, and how to get the most from the camera you have. During our second night, we'll do some review and then discuss the use of different lenses, how they will achieve varying results in your photographs, as well as recommendations on when to use specific types of lenses. We will also discuss different lighting situations (daylight, evening, nigh), as well as artificial lighting. Students will have ample opportunity for questions. We will also review and critique students' photos within the group. On the third night, we will demonstrate some basic post-processing techniques. These may include cropping a photo, conversion to black & white, how to remove unwanted items in your photos, and more. We will also share some suggestions for organization and protection of your images.
