The Chattanooga Tourism Co. inspires more people to visit and connects them with unique Chattanooga experiences. They collaborate with attractions, hotels, restaurants, economic development organizations, and many others to bring a steady stream of visitors, groups, and sporting events to the city. As a result of the visitor economy, Hamilton County residents get to enjoy an elevated quality of life with experiences such as the Tennessee Aquarium. Meanwhile at the Tennessee Aquarium, attracting both local residents and guests from around the world is just one facet of their three-pronged mission. Along with being an economic engine by helping fuel the tourism sector, the Aquarium is a leading voice for freshwater science and environmental education. Join Thom Benson, V.P. and Chief Communications & Marketing Officer for the Tennessee Aquarium and IMAX® 3D Theater, and Candace Litchfield, Director of Public Relations & Advocacy for the Chattanooga Tourism Company, for a joint presentation on how they use their PR superpowers to promote Chattanooga which bolsters its tourism and local economy. This luncheon will also be the presentation of our three 2022 Crown Award winners.
