Tis' the season of giving, and in order to unite and empower communities across District 7, Councilwoman Yassamin Ansari is hosting a holiday festival to connect residents to the multitude of resources and services that the City of Phoenix and local partner organizations have to offer. What you'll enjoy are elements like, a Holiday Photo Backdrop, Food Trucks, Bouncy Houses, Live Music, DIY & Craft Station with gift card giveaways and more! Plus, don’t miss a special guest appearance from Santa and a few of his helpers! You can also expect:
The Human Services Department with information on rent and utility assistance.
The Community and Economic Development Department will have their mobile career unit and information on job opportunities throughout the City of Phoenix and the ARIZONA WORKS program.
Local health care providers such as: Mountain Park Health Care and Mercy Care will also be present at the event to provide information on mental health resources accessible to community members, and information on preventative healthcare.The event will be held at Maurice C. Cash Elementary School (3851 W Roeser Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85041) on December 15th, from 4-7:00 P.M. There will be parking available on the school grounds, but carpooling is high encouraged as well! Please arrive as close to 4:00 as possible, as we will be setting up for the event day of. We can't wait to see you all there!
