Event Info: These hikes are intended for new hikers, people who don't want to hike alone, people who want to explore some of the places they haven't been yet, or anyone who wants to join others in a no-pressure walk in the woods. These hikes will also feature Hiking Spree eligible places so you can check them off your list and earn the rewards! This hike is at Town N Country Nature Preserve. We will meet at the Upper Tampa Bay Trail Memorial Trailhead parking lot and walk to the entrance of the Preserve. We will enjoy the cooler temperatures of the December morning right after sunrise and look for some native plants and animals as we make our way through the preserve. Walkers, birders, dogs, and photographers alike are welcome to join this early morning excursion. This hike is very short, a perfect morning break before the work week. Because these hikes are with staff but not interpretive, they are free to attend and no registration is required. There is however, a $2 parking fee to park at the Upper Tampa Bay Trail parking area. There is no roadside parking.
