Lvl up is a monthly EDM/Rave type event taking place at the magical Hooligan's Arcade in Alabaster. All local DJ's/music producers will be taking the stage with a bumping sound system and light show. Entry is $12, and includes unlimited gaming in the arcade. There's tons of games, old school cabinets, lots of one v one fighters, pinball, racing, and guitar hero. Musical acts for the night include : boyVRobot : boyvRobot (often referred to as simply bvR) makes experimental electronic music inspired by video games, fat sawtooth waveforms, and a near-constant nostalgia. https://www.instagram.com/boyvrobot/ Rhythm Restoration : Often referred to as "the Pretty Lights of the 205 area" RR makes music that is as infectiously funky as it is tech. Do not be fooled though, this guy brings the heat! His set will be half lofi beats played off an SP-404, kind of like the garage rock of EDM.
