Looking to form a Live Band

I have an experimental solo project that I would like to eventually expand in to a live act. I would like to audition a group of competent performers with at least some amount of stage time and/or recording experience and low maintenance personalities. I say this because I've previously been in situations where the people I'm working with are either putting me in a position where I become their weekly music instructor on the free or they have too many personal/mental problems and forget that we're all just trying to have fun and do something worthwhile artistically...neither of those arrangements are appealing to me at this time. I myself will be mainly filling the role of lead vocalist and playing guitar where I feel it is necessary or enjoyable to do so. I am looking to fill the roles that I cannot juggle on my own convincingly with a group of people who have a similarly expansive array of musical influences. IMPORTANT: All of the music has been written but eventually if things go well I would be open to writing as a group in the future as long as it doesn't cause internal conflicts and contributes in a positive manner for the sound of the act as a whole. If that bothers you because you're someone who needs more creative control upfront to be fulfilled in your role, with all due respect you need to go find that band that will best accommodate you and I wish you the best. Totally understandable. Requirements: This is not an overly serious project but it should be taken seriously, if you get my meaning there. You'll be expected to show up to rehearsals reasonably on time, on your own accord, and with your own functioning equipment that can (at the bare minimum) produce a useable sound during performances. Failing to uphold that standard will result in dismissal at my discretion. In your reply email please include: - Video/Recordings of you performing on your respective instrument(s) - A short blurb about yourself, i.e. influences/geographic location/experience/goals - Whatever contact information you feel comfortable sharing - Availability Please note that anyone who does not follow instructions will be passed over immediately.
