Porkhaven Farms is a wean-to-finish operation located near Waterloo, Iowa. We are hiring a part-time Power Washer Operator. In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating pressure washer machinery safely and effectively to clean swine finishing buildings and transportation vehicles. RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate Power Washer Machinery: • Operate pressure washer to remove dirt, debris and staining within swine production facilities and animal transportation vehicles. • Operate power washer machinery safely and effectively. • Be responsible for maintaining a high level of biosecurity between all buildings and sites. • Maintain established schedule as requested and provide feedback. • Clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials from area being washed. • Other manual duties as directed by supervisor. • Keep tools and equipment in good repair. • Perform maintenance on the equipment as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: • Previous swine experience preferred. • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be innovative and adapt to change. • Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail. We offer a competitive wage (based on experience and qualifications). We are looking for a person who will work part-time through the week and possibly on weekends.
