Who wants to start an AL Green tribute thing?

I can play keys and sing a little. I can learn most any song in a min or two. I'd just need other players who wouldn't mind playing for fun and learning Al Green songs until we can get gig ready. It'd just take a month or two to get a good set together. The must haves are a singer who can capture the Al Green thing, a drummer who can lay back in the cut and let the sauce simmer, and a bass player to keep stirring it till it thickens. I think auditions would be a stupid waste of time because you either know how to do this or you don't. Maybe another key player to play strings and brass on another synth...just until we get a full horn and string section all our own...haha. Just kidding. Or am I? Let's get a tribute band together and pay tribute to the man!!! REV. AL GREEN!!!
