Job Store Staffing is seeking a Production Technician for a client in the Littleton, Colorado area. This is a temporary to hire opportunity for the right candidate. The Production Technician will be a part of a team of Production Technicians that are constructing custom seats for wheel chairs. Why you will love this job! • 19 PTO day a year • 8 Paid Holidays a year • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance offered • Early shift Pay/Hours • $20/hr • Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm Responsibilities • Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments. • Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications and to detect jams or malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary. • Set up, operate, or tend to form plastic molding machines to mold products. • Remove finished or cured products from molds, using hand tools, air hoses, and other equipment, stamping identifying information on products when necessary. • Shape molds to specified contours, using sanders, grinders, and related tools. • Set up and operate machines, such as lathes, drill presses, punch presses, or bandsaws, to fabricate prototypes or models. Qualifications • Hand and Power Tools - Experience with, and the ability to use manual and powered hand tools (screw drivers, socket wrenches, Allen wrenches, pliers, reciprocating saw, etc.). Larger power tools include band saw, jig saw and drill press, bench sanders and grinders. • Lifting – Up to 25lbs on a regular basis, occasionally up to 50lbs. • Safety and Housekeeping – Able to follow company safety policy and report safety concerns or infractions when observed. The ability to maintain a well-organized and clean workspace. Participate in daily clean-up and sweeping of department. Safety glasses required in work area (supplied by company). • Education and Experience – High School diploma preferred. Experience with the above tools & equipment required. • Punctuality and Attendance – All employees are required to begin work on time and maintain an acceptable attendance record.
