Alone on Thanksgiving

Just wondering in general how many people are alone for Thanksgiving or the holidays? Does it bother you? I don't feel like we should be alone this time of year but sometimes Life deals us a hand where this is not a choice. I recently lost somebody very very close to me and I'm trying to be okay by myself. Just wanting other opinions on the subject.
