Anyone interested in forming some type of genre bending mixing jazz - hip-hop - pop combo? Play standards or originals with hopes to play out sooner than later? Hopefully reinterpret things into something unexpected. Improvise. Write. Jam. Perform. All instruments welcome. I play drums. Lately I've been listening to Kendrick Lamar, Chris Dave, Bad Plus, Eminem, Randy Waldman (UnReel), Yusef Lateef, Primus and a lot more. I'm really very open to ideas and concepts. Musicianship should be higher level amateur and or local pros who've been slugging it out and would like to do something different. Create a new genre and audience? Or just have a good time.
