Please do not flag this. Some people just have to because that is the kind of jack s they are. I have a short story to tell, and it would be nice if everyone could read it. I am sad and quite depressed this holiday season, but I AM NOT looking for help or sympathy. I was an unfortunate recipient of a house fire in June which did moderate damage resulting in me and the others who lived in the home to be displaced. No one was injured in the fire and I am very Thankful for that due to a very nice person that lived in the home alerting us to the fire before it became a total loss for the house and us all. Thank you, Ben, I am very thankful I know you and you save us all from harm. In July my ex-wife passed away, and although we very seldom spoke to each other after the divorce, I miss her a great deal. I am thankful I had the chance to meet her, get to know her, and marry her and have 3 wonderful children. They are all grown now with friends and families of their own. I have 3 grandchildren that I am very thankful for, and I love very much. 1 is a non-relation grandchild but I still am thankful for her and that I know her and her mother. I am doing well in part that I am retired and collect my SSI each month for something to get me by. I am thankful that I had a good life and was able to work to provide my family a good home and love. Now I am going to wait until the house is repaired and we all can move back in, perhaps in the early spring. I am thankful I have that to look forward to. If you have read this far, I am thankful for you that you cared enough to read this all. I wish you all well this holiday season and hope the new year brings you much joy. Be thankful for what you have today as tomorrow it may all be gone.
