PALM HARBOR, FL — A crash on U.S. 19 in Palm Harbor resulted in a pool chlorine spill, shutting down the southbound lanes of the busy road just as rush hour was underway Friday afternoon. At about 4:30 p.m., Palm Harbor Fire Rescue responded to a crash on U.S. 19 at Innisbrook Drive. The accident sent three people to the hospital and resulted in a chemical spill from a truck carrying chlorine. The road was closed until the spill could be cleaned up.
