Join us and enjoy a less than 1-mile hike that explores the Hellbender Preserve and a part of the Kokosing Gap Trail. WHEN: Saturday, December 10th at 10am WHERE: Hellbender Preserve (23316 Coshocton Rd. Howard 43028) Meet Up Point: Parking Lot Special Directions: The parking lot is at the Rotary Park and is at the end of a steep, 1-way drive. Google Maps Link: https://goo.gl/maps/FFpkXGuJYNUynVHq9 TRAIL: The loop will be a little less than 1 mile. Trails are a combination of paved and packed dirt paths. There are steps to access the Hellbender trail from the Kokosing Gap Trail (see pictures below) The trail is mostly flat with some gentle inclines and declines. The majority of the trail is shaded. NOTES: There are bathrooms open at the Rotary Park parking lot.Parents/Guardians must stay with their child at all times. We encourage family participation!In the event of inclement weather, the outing will be canceled and rescheduled. Registration is required and space is limited. Please reserve a ticket for every person that will be attending (including parents). Register today to reserve your spots!REMINDERS: We will be outside and it is getting cooler out, we recommend wearing layers and bringing water.
