Description

Learn how to craft an evergreen Yuletide garland to hang in your home, whilst sipping freshly mulled wassail! Yuletide traditions of creating evergreen garlands for decoration were done as a symbol of renewal. Dried oranges were added to represent the return of the sun after the winter solstice. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the symbolism associated with the use of pinecones, cranberries, various herbs, and the significance of evergreens such as pine, hemlock, and juniper. You will choose what you would like to use when creating your personalized Yuletide garland. The cost of the workshop is $45 and includes all materials needed to craft one swag. Hot wassail (mulled apple cider with spices) and light refreshments will also be provided as the sounds of the seasons play in the background..
