Latino Outdoors invites you, your friends, and your family to join us for a moderate winter hike in the Blue hills Reservation. The hike will be around 3 miles total with moderate incline. At Latino Outdoors, we inspire, connect, and engage Latino communities in the outdoors and embrace cultura y familia as part of the outdoor narrative, ensuring our history, heritage, and leadership are valued and represented. Cost: FREE! Date: Saturday, December 3rd 2022 from 10AM-1PM Where: We will be meeting at the Blue Hills Reservation Headquarters and walking over together. Parking is available on site and in the vicinity. Transportation is available but is limited, please let us know if you will be needing transportation. Who: This events is recommended for teens and adults. We are capping this event at 20 participants to ensure that our volunteers can meet group needs. Please only sign up if you intend to attend, we almost always have more folks interested than there are spots! If you need to cancel, please contact Lynna Caraballo ([email protected]). What to Bring: It’s getting chilly outside! We recommend dressing in layers and bringing a hat, gloves, and a scarf if you have them! Boots or warm shoes with grip are suggested as the terrains might be slippery. Consider bringing water or a thermo with a hot beverage.
