Public Speaking Workshop

Description

The workshop will have Novice (3rd grade - 5th grade), Junior (6th - 8th grade) and Senior (9th - 12th grade) levels. NMSU college agricultural students, faculty, and other volunteers will be on hand to help students develop a prepared speech on an agricultural topic of their choice. Participants are encouraged to have a topic selected prior to attending the session. A pre-workshop Zoom session will be held on Thursday, January 5th at 6:00 pm to help students select a topic that they are interested in and able to win with. The workshop will feature sessions to work on finding and organizing information for their speech and fun drills and exercises to improve their delivery.
