This is a one day, in person workshop where topics will be focused on Mental Wellness, de-escalation, empathy building exercises, and impact panels.
Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) is a community initiative developed in Memphis, TN and used worldwide. In Nebraska, CIT training has been available to criminal justice professionals since 2006. Heartland CIT is committed to training community professionals to effectively navigate a mental health crisis.
