Have some fun this holiday season with other creatives! Join Lara from Seamstress at the Circ Desk, a mobile sewing makerspace, and Betsy, from Ruby Threadgood, for some sewing fun! The Kernersville Community House will be decked out in it’s festive best and we will have our sewing machines ready for you! Lara will offer a variety of gifts for you to choose to sew - including scarves, microwavable bowls, pillowcases, and festive bunting. All materials will be pre-cut so you get to pick your project and your fabric and make it all your own! Projects take about an hour to sew up for beginners, less for more experienced sewists. Not only are these giftable, but these are great for homeschoolers to try out sewing. (12+ accompanied by an adult.) Betsy will offer her personally designed Wool Felt Pillow Kits for the intermediate to experienced sewist! The exquisite designs can be cut for you at this event using our Cricut to get you started! If you would like a little help getting started, Betsy can offer guidance on stitching too! These kits make a lovely gift for the Sewists in your life! Help them get started right away by having us help cut it out for them! You will leave feeling inspired, accomplished, and ready to create more! We look forward to sharing some wonderful holiday cheer with you!
