CHESS FOR KIDSWednesdays 7PM- 8:15PMClasses start October 26th. No classes November 23rdLast session December 7th.Informational meetings will be held October 12th and 19th. Drop by 7 - 8 PM. No ticket needed. About me: I am currently a self taught artist and although I love what I do, I strongly miss what I equally love. As a retired elementary school teacher (25 years), as well as a chess coach (23 years), I have seen firsthand, the positive academic, social, and psychological impact that chess has on children. The many influences of chess are difficult to measure but definitely make a difference in motivation, attitude and self- confidence. I hope to share my passion with more families as our chess community grows.
