To register, visit: Hair braiding is both an Art and a Science. We used science to design our patented braiding tool which teaches the art of hair braiding in under 15minutes. In this workshop, we teach hair braiding as a S.T.E.M./S.T.E.A.M. for K-8. Parental participation welcome! Using a S.T.E.M. framework, let us teach your child how S.T.E.M. applies to hair braiding. Our curriculum Science: Up close view of hair Technology: Pattern recognition of hair braiding Engineering: Periodic Table Art / Architecture: Both are true in the hair braiding Math: Geometric shapes in hair braiding The Hair Braiding is a STEM has been very well received featured at the Community College of Baltimore so we were invited back for 2023. We were invited to be a part of the MD STEM festival. Our first MD STEM festival event at AACC will be held 10 December 2022 at 1pm
