Description
Love the Skin You're InLiberate yourself from the pressures of perfection and find acceptance for yourself through all stages of your fitness journey. This tell-all, Q&A Burn Boot Camp member panel discussion will cover the highs and lows of seeking comfort in your skin and leave you inspired by what IS possible. Claire Anderson, Burn Boot Camp Kirkwood Member, has found consistency over the last two years and a stronger body as a result. As she is working through both a knee injury and chronic immune condition, she still feels challenged and is actively working towards her goals. Claire’s time with Burn has positively helped her mental health (especially during the pandemic) and has taught her how to properly fuel her body with whole food nutrition to enhance her overall physical performance. Katie Fallon, Burn Boot Camp O’Fallon Member, is a mom to six children all under the age of eight. As a new member, she is focused on creating habits, getting uncomfortable and learning portion control – all of which have been a positive blueprint for her family as she leads the way. She admits, self-acceptance is hard, and a continued practice. “This body was given to me to do hard work without comparing it to others or being self-conscious of its imperfections.” Carlos Rendon, Burn Boot Camp South County Member, joined to keep up with his children’s pace of life. When asked by his wife to join, he went all in and just said, “YES.” This leap of faith and a commitment to hard work led to losing 50 pounds, and the ability to now chest press 90lb dumbbells. Carlos is an open book and eager to inspire others to just begin! Missy Goodwin, Burn Boot Camp Manchester Member, was inspired by her daughter to begin. She joined at a time when she had a lack of mobility, poor eating habits and low self-esteem. Throughout her five-year journey with Burn Boot Camp, she has been able to shift her mindset from chasing a number on the scale to celebrating non-scale victories and a healthy body fat percentage. The athlete within her has re-emerged and she enjoys keeping up with all ages inside the gym proudly representing the 50+ community. “I'm 55 and have never felt physically better in my life.”
