WHEN: SUNDAY DEC 4 | Tour begins at 12:30 and speakers begin at 2:00 PM COST: Admission is free. Ebensee, a subcamp of the infamous Mauthausen concentration camp in Austria, is the starting point of a captivating story of two Georgia families joined by survival and liberation. Please join us as liberator Judge Aaron Cohn's Daughter, Gail, and Holocaust Survivor Itzik Slodowski's son, Reuben Sloan M.D., share a fascinating and remarkable account of how the two families learned that they shared a common history. DAY OF EVENT Admission to the museum is complimentary all day. 12:30 PM - Visitors can attend a free guided tour of the Holocaust Gallery. Tours are capped at 60 persons in total. They are on a first-come, first-served basis. While the tour is in session, the Holocaust Gallery will be closed from 12:30 - 2 PM, but our other galleries will be open during this time. 2:00 PM - The Bearing Witness program begins, and doors to the auditorium open at 1:30 PM. Complimentary parking is available at the museum (with free overflow parking available nearby.) COVID Protocols: For the protection of our speakers and guests, masks are strongly recommended while in the building. This program is presented by The Weinberg Center for Holocaust Education at The Breman Museum and community partner Eternal Life - Hemshech.
