This course will help prepare the attendee for either MLA I or MLT I certification exams. This course will focus on proper greasing, oil lubrication methods, selection of proper lubricants, maintenance strategies, and all aspects of the ICML MLT I body of knowledge. The MLA I adds elements of oil and grease sampling and analysis in addition to setting up and maintaining a lubricant analysis laboratory or lab provider relationship. The course covers both bodies of knowledge, with significant overlap of MLT I and MLA I. With this course, attendees will also learn how to ensure proper selection and application of lubricants, obtain representative samples, provide meaningful analysis, and take the right course of action for optimal machinery reliability.
