Christmas may be a wonderful time of the year, but it’s also one of the most nostalgic. Who could represent this more convincingly than the Crawleys and their staff from Downton Abbey?! The nostalgia for the old ways produced many of their Christmas customs which are actually rooted in Victorian times. With its prominent history in Spring Lake, The Lilley Mansion seems to be the obvious choice to pay homage to this beloved British series. The Lilley Mansion would like to invite you to a festive evening inspired by traditions, elegance and the beauty of earlier centuries. Christmas would be nothing without its food of course, and indeed its drink! We will be serving magnificent edibles and some forgotten delicacies from the Downton Abbey era which we are sure will surprise and delight you. Dress to shine on this festive night and let’s celebrate Christmas the British way! (Formal attire suggested. Tickets are limited.)
