Residential Maintenance Technician Needed: Compensation of pay: $22-28 per hour dependent on experience and knowledge of HVAC. Additionally, we offer an optional rent discount, and monthly bonuses. Essential Functions Statement(s): -As directed by the Property Manager, will complete grounds, maintenance, and repair tasks, as well as preventative -Performs carpentry, including but not limited to; replacement of exterior doors and windows, replacement of interior doors, window repair, deck repair. -Performs electrical work including but not limited to; changing bulbs, ballasts, fixtures, replacement of switches and outlets, bathroom ventilation fans, etc. -Performs plumbing work including but not limited to; replacement of faucets and garbage disposals. -Performs safety related tasks, including but not limited to; replacement of batteries in alarm panels, exit lights, smoke & CO2 detectors. -Installs appliances, performs advanced troubleshooting and repair, replacement of major components such as motors, pumps, circuit boards etc. replaces belts, filters, ignitors. -HVAC - replacement of ignitors, sensors and motors, troubleshooting, installation of thermostats. -Assesses and considers safety of community residents and staff in performing tasks. -Moves, lifts, and/or stocks materials as needed. -Communicates maintenance request status/completion to relevant staff. -Works collaboratively with staff members on accomplishment of objectives and activities. -Performs all other related duties, as assigned by the Property Manager as needed. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for working in collaboration with the rest of the maintenance team in performing building repair, grounds, and maintenance activities for our 200-unit, multi-family apartment community in the Milwaukee/ Brown Deer area. Activities include, but are not limited to: carpentry, painting, appliance repair and home maintenance activities. The Maintenance Technician may also perform heavy manual labor in and about facility, such as moving, lifting, stocking, or transporting materials.
