Description
Let's do this: jazz and pop standards, ala Michael Bublé, Michael Feinstein, Harry Connick Jr., Chet Baker, etc. I'm a lyric baritone with a decent range.
And/or launch into Richard Cheese territory.
And/or do acoustic versions of pretty much anything we like. I play guitar, should we go down that road.
I'm a recently retired guy, I was a voice major in college, did the Metropolitan Opera auditions several times (don't get excited: I never won) was a professional (church, primarily) musician for 30 years, and have recently begun to sing again. I'm happy to say that I still sound relatively young, and don't have, for the most part, the dreaded "old folks wobble" vibrato.
While my main goal here is to have fun, everyone works harder with a goal in view, so I'm definitely down to gig anywhere that would have us, for whatever they'd like to pay. Or nothing. I don't know if there's a market for this kind of thing.
Anyway, if you're interested, talented, able to transpose and possibly to improvise, and playing music like this sounds like fun, let's talk.
