Small HO Railroad Layout Being Offered

I have a small HO railroad that was initially built for my kids when they were 3 and 6. They are now in their 40's and have no time, interest or space for the layout. It is mounted on a 4'x8' plywood base, to give an idea of the size. There are some inexpensive engines, various rolling stock and buildings. I am willing to gift this layout to a family who has young boys or girls who might be interested in taking the layout, learning how to work on it, and likely enhance it going forward. Typically, someone in the 6 to 12 year age range who has an interest in small electrical /mechanical models. I am willing to train them on the intricacies of the way in which it was built so they can continue to work on it and enjoy it for years to come. I am not going to let it go to someone who just wants to flip it and make a few bucks.
