Description
Our band is set to record an album with a Grammy nominated producer. Next September, we have 18 days booked at The Blasting Room in Ft. Collins. We're committed to recording up there because of our excitement about collaborating with this producer. No one but me is expected to be there that whole time and the day to day scheduling for tracking parts will be adaptable to everyone's needs. We are also booked to play the Roxy on Broadway in February. We just lost our drummer yesterday. What we will do about this upcoming show, we'll just have to see. We are in search of a drummer who can weave diverse feels into an extensive collection of original tunes. The primary influence at our foundation is the broad genre of Classic Rock. Some songs are decidedly Latin while some have a touch of reggae, somewhat like The Police and Zeppelin on Fool in the Rain and D'yer Mak'er. Other songs are infused with funk and here and there some old Americana folk shows up. We are dedicated to producing an album in 2023 that we will all be thrilled to share, come what may from there. All of us are friendly, kind, communicative, and reliable. We do not have room for arrogance and friendly chemistry is a must. A full-on band member would be preferable to a hired gun. We practice on Thursday evenings and often on Tuesday evenings as well. Our 24/7 practice space is in Downtown Denver on Walnut St. We are adaptable and supportive of everyone's needs for music-life balance. Someone who would be willing to commit through 2023 and then see what happens from there would be fantastic. I am confident the tracks from our recording project will open up possibilities for touring, and possibilities for enlisting new members if need be. I was born in 1975. My songwriting is influenced by the Classic Rock I grew up listening to on the radio. In particular, I admire the diversity of the Beatles and the Eagles with the array of emotions and moods their songs tap into. Many of our songs have a natural pull into syncopation. So much happens on the offbeat. Other influences and ingredients include various Latin rhythms, funk, reggae, and folk. I can share a Spotify playlist assembled to convey inspirations and influences. I'll share rough demos from our rehearsal space as well. Please share a little about yourself first. I'd be thrilled to hear from you and to explore possibilities. Thank you very much for your consideration. ~ Justin Spicer Allison - vocals Chris - bass Justin - vocals and guitars Vance - keyboard/piano
