Old dude Verdant Metal

Lead vocalist/lyricist/bassist looking for guitar and drums of a similar vintage (40s). I dropped out of performing when the kids were born, and now they’re nearly off to college. So I find myself trying to find some folks around my age to jam and write some originals. Verdant Metal? I made it up. Verdant simply means vibrant green, like vegetation. I get that could have a few connotations, but was shooting for nature, the outdoors, Beltane, bonfires… that sort of thing. What I am proposing is to layer hard folk rock/metal, doom, some stoner, and psychedelic. Kind of like a Kadavar/The Sword/Zeppelin/Sabbath/Red Fang sandwich with some Jefferson Airplane/Cream or Blood Ceremony/Jethro Tull flavor tossed in. Maybe it goes more Fu Manchu, maybe it goes more Wishbone Ash. Idk? I have a 24 hour practice spot near downtown. Send me an email with things like your info and maybe a link.
