Position Overview: This position will start as a trainee and will be increased to a full time position as skills and knowledge advance with training provided. As a Lead Technician you will specialize in restoring commonly found residential and commercial hard surfaces in kitchens, bathrooms, foyers, lobbies, pool decks, showers and counter tops. Most are single day projects for customers specifically in need of a grout, stone, wood or tile restoration for a fraction of the cost of replacement. You will earn a wage on each job and be able to further improve your income if you are asked to provide additional work to existing jobs. Some technicians complement their income by learning and growing into full or part time sales roles as well. Primary Job Responsibilities: Perform all previously quoted tasks for customers to achieve maximum satisfaction Complete initial and final walk through/sign-off of customer's project Receive payment when project is complete and communicate daily with your manager Use sales techniques and technical knowledge to sell additional work as needed Knowledgeable and professional in answering any and all questions for customers Collect and suggest referrals from current customers to help grow the business Keep van and contents clean, maintained and organized Qualifications: Friendly and Optimistic Disposition On Time Polished Demeanor Excellent Attention to Detail, cleaning detail. Solid Communications skills Hands on Aptitude for Home Improvement (examples: flooring, drywall, wood working, tiling, etc.) Desire to learn and grow with the company Requirements: Must be able to pass a background test * Must have a clean driving record Must be able to occasionally work Saturdays Job Type: Full-time Salary: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour Once trained and moved to tech position, a company van is provided for your use. Benefits: Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability on occassion Supplemental pay types: Tips $$$$ Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Floor care: 1 year (Preferred) Or 1 year detailed cleaning experience.
